Our story
Rooted in a proud family tradition of shoemaking and inspired by contemporary design, DANT represents a legacy of craftsmanship, personalized luxury, and refined style.
Founded by Dan Torres, DANT carries the story of three generations of cobblers from Marikina — once the shoemaking capital of the Philippines. While time and turmoil have led to a decline in artisan shoemakers in the city, DANT seeks to revive and celebrate this rich heritage.
What started as a natural passion for high-end footwear led Dan to handcraft his very first pair of shoes in 2016. To deepen his craft, he embarked on an intensive journey through shoemaking workshops in Florence, Italy, and trained under a mentor from the Arsutoria School in Milan.
Through DANT, Dan continues his family’s legacy, blending traditional craftsmanship with modern sensibilities to create exceptional handmade shoes.
